Always a good watching

I really like the play on the 1980's cultural icons in this piece. My brother actually met him in person when he was working at a convenience store in Maine. Killroy is only getting better love the new killer move it was sweetly animated.

Also I noticed on one of the fight scenes Killroy's head seemed a little detached and looked odd.

Long Live Killroy and his funny sidekick.

Uptown-SlimJim responds:

Your brother met Hogan? That's awesome...hold on to that brother of yours, he's a keeper

For the battle gear model I pretty much made a new body and redid the head. Just enough to get the movie done. In hindsight, I rushed it

Not even close to the LOTRs who cares?

I don't you had me rolling laughing at these wonderful spoofs. I have to say both the pokemon orcs and He-Man references were classic. This piece should make it but there are a great deal of cool stuff on the portol today.

Loved this piece!

TX2 responds:

I just hope this passes Judgement BEFORE the end of the day, because if it doesn't, there's a chance the Pbot doesn't Report about it at all (not today, or tomorrow) it just goes into a limbo.

Exceptionally brilliant

I am so glad I did not miss this. It is hard to find good directors on Newgrounds let alone story tellers. You have a brilliant ability to put these pieces together.

I am really loving the story and the music keeps the plot from being stagnate. This is a wonderfully engaging story to be proud of.

Happy New Year!

Get-lost responds:

Feels great to hear that :)
Thank you.

A fifen before the purge

I am still trying to understand the "purge" that everybody is talking about. I understand there are some pretty crappy clock friend animators but what about the clock friends like myself who always protect the excellent and at least tolerable clock crew movies?

You flash was as excellent and gun to watch as always. I really liked the play on nonsense and existence it was classic. Thanks for a fun flash before the purger....Ah...it burns!

PrintMaster Clockfriend or at least till midnight :-)

EraserLock responds:

Wanna know a secret....

The Purge is a fake....

Thanks for review!!

Definitely over a day's work

I really feel you got some potential kid. Your character already seems well developed and we have barely gotten to know him for more then 3 minutes. Your grim is sensitive and has a deadly temper. It feels as if this series can only continually get better. I thought the look was rather well made to look of death. I am happy you chose something more original than a tall guy in a black cloak.

My only complaint is that ridiculously overused death groan. Try to invent your own because I know it has been used more than 100 times alone on many Newgrounds animations.

Hazviz responds:

Thanks! I'm glad you feel I that I managed to introduce the character well. Hopefully the next episode will give everyone a much deeper insight into his ways. (Even I don't know where I am going to go with in yet, Ep 1 wasnt scripted as such, but the script for Ep 2 is being written now =D)

Thanks again, I hope Episode 2 doesn't disappoint.

Animation was good but style was lost

I have watch this series and it has improved greatly from the beginning. I did like the cinamatic fighting scenes but something was missing. To me, the dialog with the gods was classic. Pit was half of what made your series so great. I was expecting at least some hero to villain talking back and forth. I just felt this was rushed to be finished and done with.

I have like all your pieces but this truly to me lacks your charm and style.

MKjack responds:

Yes, i like stories where the hero gets evil XD
Although this is not in the original plot of Kid Icarus, I installed sth like this.
Pit gets evil because of his stress and because he just gets a bow (WHICH IS THE BOW FROM BRAWL btw), for his long adventure.

And I'm doing my best to give all you sth good, and thats what comes out. ^^

Another great clockmas Animation

I liked this one just as much as many of the other great clockmas pieces this year. Just a thought it would be nice if you folks could have a flashback when you bring in a villain of the clockcrew so we understand why he is an antagonist. I felt that the effort was adequate to receive a good review and my Fifen.

Merry Boxing Day...(Day after Christmas)

BoltClock responds:

Awww, how touching.

Yeah, I did a very short flashback in mine. Though we're trying to forget that Bit ever existed.

Thanks for your review and happy Boxing Day.

I am your Savior...no just the 200th voter

No it was not a spectacular flash but I could see you seriously tried to make something good. I am certain you will improve so keep up your practice. Work on motion tweening and get yourself audacity since it can get rid of the noise in ones voice.

Have a Merry Christmas.

Knuckles-gay responds:

Happy Christmas

Truly in SBC's style

I absolutely loved this piece rupee. It had SBC's ideology and selfish side written all over it. You have always made me respect your flashes. By far you are one of the best clock animators.

Have a wonderful Clockmas. The Tom Fulp at the end was a great laugh.

Remember me before the purge PrintMaster clockfriend.

RupeeClock responds:

Hehe, thanks for the support. :)

This piece seems a bit out of place

Phill,

This piece was pretty good like the others but I felt this piece had a hard time fitting in with the others. I felt Blue Bob was a bit more passive than this characterization of this episode. He was depicted quite aggressive when in you other pieces he really just wanted to be left alone. I could understand him fighting for his life but it looked as if he went on the offensive. its as if an episode is somehow missing that explains his decision to become sort of a vigilante.

Also I rated the graphics lower because I noticed a major problem with the focus of the camera. Most of the quick movements seemed blurred. Please try to pay more attention to this in the future.

Phill64 responds:

Thanks for your review!

I guess at the end of the episode he is a bit ruthless, but at the beginning he was just going for a jog.

I'll be sure to victumise him more again in future.

I have a great deal of experiance with video, animation and am a software engineer by hobby. I also have helped 6th graders in an after school program make a 20 minute short and their own animations using Appleworks.
