Spontaneously Original

I rather liked this piece because it was full of its own flavor. I liked how you chose to both animate the song while giving us the lyrics.

Lochie responds:

The lyrics are for kareoke!

Animation of superb quality but very naive

As a great great nephew of a white Russian, I know that Lenin and Stalin were butchers and not heroes against poverty. Many Russians died needlessly to make Russia an industrial power. And freedom they went from serfs to cogs. There was no true freedom since Lenin was a totalitarian dictator. Russia lived under the lie that Communism did their best interests instead of the interests of the ones in power.

Is this a good representation of Communist lies absolutely but so isn't the American elections we are made to blindly think that more security is a form of freedom rather than shackles. The form is well performed and filled with Communist culture. Don't get me wrong the animation is good but the message is full of the Communist subjects hopes but nothing but lies.

Kenzu responds:

Thank you for your neutrality in reviewing the flash.

You know that it was actually Stalin who changed USSR from an agricultural country into a superpower at the cost of millions of lives. The majority of socialists and communists hate him for being so ruthless and being responsible for the deaths of many. If you have a look at my flash, none is in support of Stalin, however Lenin was different.

Lenin didnt achieve industrialisation, but he made education and health care freely accessible for everyone. USSR was amongst the first countries to guarantee countless workers rights and citizens rights such as the right to divorce, child support and the Soviet Union was the first country to legalise abortion. Stalin destroyed a lot of freedom granted by Lenin's New Economic Policy, and also turned political opponents to slaves. That's why we hate Stalin.

Easily lovable

I really enjoyed the superb backgrounds and the animated characters. Highly anime that is in style.
I am unsure why you labeled this with mild nudity since I know I have seen G rated movies with little children's bottoms. Since you did not depict any genitals I am almost certain this is suitable for all audiences.

Beautiful work!

seso responds:

Thank you kindly for watching and leaving such a nice comment. :) I suppose I can change the rating, I wasn't completely sure.

Fantastico

Me encanta ver un gran colección de caricaturas. Muchas son del mejor calidad y la mayoria de usted son jovenes.

¡Buen provecho!

Jectoons responds:

Yupi.

A very strong piece with a clear message

It's hard to think one would think of beheading as entertainment but given the violence now portrayed by bullies and their victims and the mindless killings of terrorist groups make us have to rethink the power of technology and its use for both good and evil.

The pen is a mighty weapon and sadly seems to be used readily in this country. What's even sadder is the fact that not one person who has the chance to be president has enough integrity to use it wisely. Your piece is a good use of satire and a rather well written satirical song.

It looks though you have a very good head on your shoulders with this issue and I am happy to say I took time to watch this. You cause us to question what we think.

kyle-christie responds:

Like to try and put some depth and meaning into us animations..then again, meaningless and shallow can also be fun. Thanks for commenting!

Brilliantly funny and innovative

I cannot say I have ever seen a flash about drawing and ones oblivious ability to see that he is loved. This is believable and quite humous. Your transitions are innovative and fascinating. I look forward to part 2.

Bobert-Rob responds:

I look forward to part 2 as well, since it contains some of the best stuff. It's great. Thanks for the compliments and review!

Wow... nice new show

You have a great ability to engineer stupendous characters with quite a bit of intrigue. I love how much this resembles a sitcom from an office or business facility.

I missed your work since the end of Killroy and am looking forward to this new series.

Uptown-SlimJim responds:

Ha, good to hear from you again, Tonio.

Brilliantly animated but not 100% followable

Please understand I can see some brilliant animation and use of anime style in this piece. Yet, understand as a director one must be sure that all important elements to the story fit well together and are comprehensible by your audience. The piece that bothered me was the written diagnosis about the prototype constantly getting too short time and barely readable.

I did understand that the scientist wanted to create androids that could think for themselves and not be war machines. Yet, any piece should be simple and easy to figure as you watch it. Even in shows like Naruto, Dragon Ball (Z/GT), Bleach etc it is very easy to pick up where one left off. Or understand what happened visually.

Was there enough figure out the story for the most part. You a wonderful visual strength try to work on the story telling element. But don't let the anti-anime freaks bother you.

Manga-Otaku responds:

Oh, the written diagnosis and such was supposed to be not readable.

I originally intended the words to be not readable, but I went with legible English.

Unfortunately, that tends to lead the eye away from the dialogue...

Thanks for the constructive criticism!

And thanks for the support against the anti-anime freaks. ^^

Spontaniously and Professionally Funny

I really cannot find to much not to love about this. Like the Swain kindly mentioned this hits a good note for Newground cult classic or as he calls it an epic flash.

I really like how well the feeling of your passion for flash animation and passion against unjustified daily firsts. One of the pieces people seem to forget is that some unknown artists really deserve a better review from Newgrounds viewers.

Yet, I feel you guys got it and you should be proud we are tough to follow. I love the artist license you took with taking it out on animations that obviously sometimes get overrated. Not all but many.

The scene with Phoenix wrong was completely utterly laughable. It actually looked as if his reactions to the blows were pixelated rather than poorly drawn in. I can see some serious effort to catch your audience.

I can't wait see what else you have for us.

Till next time....I'm lovin this!

RSQViper responds:

Awesome review, man thank so much.

To top off this mighty Flash that stands in the face of over-rated Flash with super-high scores we got UNDERDOG OF THE WEEK!

The ultimate statement! (and a total surprise)

I thought this show was mediocre but I was wrong

I loved the play on Johnny 5 combined with evil Hal. This was amusing to watch. Looks like someone has to perform an exorcist on ROB.

FarFromSubtle responds:

Robots are INTENSE!

I have a great deal of experiance with video, animation and am a software engineer by hobby. I also have helped 6th graders in an after school program make a 20 minute short and their own animations using Appleworks.
