Brilliant, catchy, and mesmerizing
Simple yet titillates the mind in a mass confusion. I liked how it took form of the music rather than the music the animation. We need a little Booglafication from now and then don't hide away for too long.

I'll always be right there in your heart, if you truly believe in me :3
Well animated
I felt it was a well animated piece from backgrounds, characters and even the magical Christmas ending. One problem, Santa planted an acorn and a pine tree appeared. You may want to have Santa plant a pine cone or perhaps look for a picture of an oak tree. Everything else was picture perfect.
i know, i know... sorry!
The elements are all there
I cannot say this is hard to follow at all. This seems like the day in the life of a teenager. The title even fits. The drawings are fantastic and really though out. The shower scene with the water flowing was really well portrayed. I believed the water was trickling down his body. Movement was smooth and story did not move too fast. I like it but I am not certain it does enough for me.
hey man , thanks for a very constructive comment. thank you
I enjoyed it by itself
I have not yet seen the other episodes but I can tell you are an excellent story teller and character designer. The transition from evil to good was well expressed through the use of color and heaven/hell motifs. I love the lines too. My only gripe is his neck bothers me. It needs to be proportioned better.
Thanks a lot! I didn't think the episodes held well on their own, but hey, if you like it then cool! Oh and yeah, I hate that neck too... wanted to fix it but was too lazy to be honest... Thanks for watching! If you get the chance check out the whole series and let me know what you think :)
Another fun idea for animating
I especially liked the sound effect for the paper moving. I would like to have some more sound effects it would make it feel more real.
I feel the same way. But there weren't a lot of instances where sounds would have fit.
I agree that the sound is important though
Thank you a parody laughingly intellectualism
I have avoided twitter for the same reason. I do not see its importance since both myspace and facebook have their own rant options. Yet, this seems to be a more constructive parody than the one on Current TV's Supernews. What makes me laugh is I am a student of technology; yet, I feel no need to be caught up in the stupidity of mini rants or posted howdy doos. If I wanted tweets, I would also enjoy elevator music and completely stupid and worthless animations.
Thank you for smacking a jab at the senseless tweets on the internet.
i wont even make a dent in the worlds need to post senseless nothingness..but thats alright, ill be dead in a few decades anyways
Humorous and Muzzy-like
This reminds me of those mini lessons from BBC's Muzzy series. I think it's "Como estoy" not Como está... Because he is really asking if he is wearing them well and not if the pants are wearing him. I think the concept is amusing and fun to watch. You are right about the language videos they tend to use Spain as a model which oddly its as bad as the United States verses the UK. A Spanish video can only work for the intended dialect.
Muzzy? I LOVE MUZZY!!
"Are the pants wearing me?" :3
Wow, I had to watch this twice
I could get what was going by the end but I had to watch this twice to ensure I understood how it happened. Question did you use objects that you later made invisible to make this work? I can see that you probably spent a great deal of time just making the hands look so real.
A very nice but disturbing piece. I still like it.
Haha yeah most people don't pick up on that! I did in fact have a box and rope in the scene while working on the animation that I then made invisible when I rendered :)
I liked it just as well the first time
I think the opening is a great way to catch your audience off guard. I like how you demonstrate something special about them but you hold off the explanation for the actual episode. The effects were innovative and memorizing. I really started to like what I was seeing from start to finish. Your characters are quite transparent not flat which makes them more complicated and will help you really make your audience love their performance.
Hope to see episode 2 and not 1 for the second time.

thats for the very arty review. and thanks for liking the intro. That intro is the only one of its kind. We've planned this series to be like a movie If you played each episode one after another.
There still will be an opening credits per episode. Just not like that. More of the credits rolling as the episode is playing ;)
I have a great deal of experiance with video, animation and am a software engineer by hobby. I also have helped 6th graders in an after school program make a 20 minute short and their own animations using Appleworks.
