Nice change to all the menotiny

This piece was quite odd and erie. It gave me a spooky feeling. I had a feeling as soon as the children moved in closer they would be eaten; yet, I did not expect them to be turned into the flowers. Nice twist to a rather bizarre cartoon.

I agree it is a little slow but the music made me feel that the pace fit it well. The only thing I would have added were sounds for the stones being hurled and the eating of the two children.

A well orchestrated piece

Everything that was necessary to make this a great piece was there. The sound was well placed and syncked. This was a pleasure to watch. Your style of animation is crisp and refreshing.

I can tell this took not only animation workmanship but a great deal of sketching. I cannot wait to see what happens next. This has the power and inspiration that makes Xombie so great.

Hijole that was a riot!

I can't believe how hard I laughed at that piece.

Thanks for sharing your work with Newgrounds!

Buen provecho amigo

Esta película es muy facíl para comprender. Me encanta el chiste. Silencio por favor!

Gracia por tu animación.

Did somebody say born to animate?

This was fantastic with a high influence of Tom and Jerry and Ren and Stimpy. I loved the expressions of emotions of pain and agony simply marvelous. The final close up on his strung up body was perfect.

I am glad you took sometime to work on this again.

Lot's of promise no dice

This piece does have major aspects that can work for it but that does not make it pass through the portal. I loved your drawings and even the weird killing of everything.

The problem with this piece is there is not point to it. As an animator, we need to give our audience direction. Animations to short to get a point across fail to captivate your audience. I liked the teddy bear and the evil skull but you lost me. I could not understand why the bear randomly killed every thing.

Give us a story and you will pass through the portal no sweat!

Smooth and beautiful

I have to say that pimped out car was a spectacular sight to see. I loved how much work I could see from your piece. The angle change was also very nice.

My challenge to you is to have it do the tire raises as it goes down the street in sync with some hip-hop beat.

Lovely piece of work!

Die Lemmings!

Yes, the quest continues to see the senseless killing of some of the cutest rodents known to man. I have to say your choice of speech is quite amusing and who could not love the deathly antics of lemmings.

I am not quite sure the walking resembles that of Veggie tales but it works for the style. Try to work on more animation but keep them dying lemmings coming!

Math is fun?

That's what my college prof would say anytime we would say math was pointless in his class. I don't think math has yet saved my life but it does help to be quite versed in it as an educator and in most jobs. It does save you money on taxes if you can file your own.

Well, All I can say is you really put some work into both your artwork and your characters. For 14, kid you've got a bright future in flash animation. I wish flash was around when I was your age. We had hypercard for the macs. It can be programmed but at the time it was black and white and behaved as a paint program.

You failed to relate it totally to math which match your character perfectly. I loved the drawing of Mr. Mario. My suggestio would be to work more on your fighting animation sequences. Cinematography was prime and so were your lip syncs.

This was overly a barrel of laughs!

DarksbaneTheDog responds:

Thanks man. Actually I don't hate math, and I know it comes in handy. Ha, yeah, the fight sequence though could have been way better. I know because, it was rushed. There should have been more action, after he hits the guy the first time. Mr. Mario was probably the funnest to draw too, maybe next to Q.M. The reason, which is sorta obvious, is because I basically got to draw an "older version" of Super Mario. :D

Anyways thanks again for the review man, and I'll really work hard to improve.

Old school 1st person meets live action

I liked this piece. It had the feeling half-life and doom written all over it. The problem with this piece is much of the text is unreadable so most of your user jokes have been lost and the overlay could be better. I am not sure if you did the gun overlays on flash or through a video program.

Suggestion...
Do all video uploading through your movie maker or imovie (mac or pc) and all over lays and text done in flash only. That should make this look better. Much better.

I have a great deal of experiance with video, animation and am a software engineer by hobby. I also have helped 6th graders in an after school program make a 20 minute short and their own animations using Appleworks.
