Nice play on text!

This shows a very mature animator in the making. Your work was tight and well orchestrated. It did not seem forced or difficult to follow. I loved the characterizing of text it was sweet!

Power to the Smock Lock!

I feel your pain. I never liked smocks. I was big on old used clothes. Ah... I am sorry old clothes lock. No... Please I meant you no harm. Really... I know I used permanent oil-based inks. Aaahh!

Bring on the SKA!

I felt this was fun. I liked the gangster culture play. I especially loved the dis on rap and advertisement for SKA! What program do you Locks use for electronic voiceovers?

HurleyLock responds:

Awesome, a fellow Ska fan! What a constructive review! Oh and the program is "Speakonia"

Not super but off to a great start

The humor was easy to follow and the footages were excellent. Feel free to improve on the animation as you go. Be careful not to change it too much. She was a very likeable character.

Great start!

Awesome Effect!

Is there any chance you could give me some hints how to do this? I would love to teach this to my after school film club.

Xaroxantu-Zero responds:

Sure! I used the continuous drive function (or burst mode for consumer cameras) to do the shoot. Me and my actress had to move fairly slowly for the camera to capture most of our movements. The higher framerate your camera can capture, the smoother the result. As for the actual animating it's just a series of frames fading out one after another.

Hope this helps!

Well animated and great voice acting.

I may not be a fan of violence but I am of fantastic animators. I hare to say you know your anatomy pretty well. are arm! You also have the makings of a great voice actor!

Fantastic transformations!

I love your fluid control of transformations. Everything seems well planned out! One critique... Loose your room and work on backgrounds. It will improve Your overall effect. You hare the makings of a great claymation artist!

BlakTornado responds:

thank you :)

What lack in graphics made up in screenplay!

This is well Coriographed and it moves quite smoothly. I really lifted this. If you want suggestions, add another angle for superman. It shows are great deal of effort.

This is what a collaborative is all about

I could only wish clockworks would get your sense of talent. Most of these collaborations really fail to be more than peep shows and pathetic animations. Thanks for showing us what its all about. Next time show us some of your own stuff put together.

Well animated...Poorly voiced

I really appreciate your submission and your choice to have a you Odessius. Remember little Telemacus must be born sometime before his father leaves. If you would like a villainous Posedon I would be happy to send you the waves needed to spruce this up. I do a pretty mean villain laugh.

Glomper2000 responds:

I know I didn't include Telemachus. I planned to, but I just didn't have the time to do what I wanted with this... Like the voice acting. Yes I am well aware it sucks... But I had to do it all myself and I am definately not a voice actor. Thank you though.

I have a great deal of experiance with video, animation and am a software engineer by hobby. I also have helped 6th graders in an after school program make a 20 minute short and their own animations using Appleworks.
