The control has improved

I feel the control seems a bit more manuverable. I also like the fact I am not waiting as long for flowers to pop in.

I have liked this concept since the beginning. I am in hopes to work on my own bee short soon too. Its not a game but I am proud that you are working so hard to make this better.

der-Wahnsinn responds:

yeah, that were some of the things i changed.

thanks for the review.

A game about a Bee

I like the idea but I feel skulls could be substituted for hornets or bumblebees.

Also it seems sometimes that I have to wait a long time for flowers to come. This aspect makes us have to take a longtime to get a score.

Also the falling aspect is okay but I would expect this type of game to be mouse based yet it would defeat of the need for the water on the bottom.

The clouds were cool but none of them ever were in front of the bee. This could have added some neat obstacles.

The flowers could have appeared on the field rather than falling which could have been a different appeal.

I did like playing the game but it seemed to consume a large amount of time. The score system could have also had a level indicator. You could also add an extra life for every 50 to 100 points for extended play.

The Bee was cool but believe it or not the wings glide back and forth on its abdomine. I know this because I love photographing bees. I am also working on a Bee short. You created sort of a butterflybee. Its still a great game but it could use some tweaking.

This was a fun demonstration

I liked this. I am currently studying actionscript so I like these effects. My concern is you fail to add a movieClip.clear() method after one presses the next button which causes a slow down as one moves from demonstration to demonstration. I would also limit the number of instances on the screen due to some folks who have slow computers. Mine only put my computers power usage up but I bet some folks will complain even more than I do.

The graphics were a little hard to read (text and buttons) I know this was to emphasize on the animation but it still needs to be viewable or it ceases to catch the viewer.

It was actually quite readable

This piece was nice for how complete it was and the tutorial was quite easy to follow. I liked the opening graphics much better than the interface. The body drawing was not as great as the facial tutorial. Overall you need to work on an interface and a better look. Nice start.

Not a good context but great game

I am not a fan on blamming political parties for keeping Osama alive; yet , you game was fun and you even changed osama's face for different levels of health. I loved the powerups and weapons. This was tight and really fun. Tablet PC recommended!

Paranoia responds:

Well, the context seemed great to me when someone suggested it (or something similar). I quite like the idea...

Anyway, thanks for the review.

Nice start...let's keep moving

I liked the way it ran but I think you need to add the answer when they get it wrong and possibly the method of how to get the right answer. It's a nice start but don't stop here.

Could this get any better?

I loved this. The controls were really neat and the gameplay was fun. It even felt like Greece with the very hilly valleys. My only gripe is historically this game felt more Roman than Greek. Heck the name Romanius was really poorly chosen for a Greek game. The voice of the beginning was prime and really gave the game a nice edge. This felt very professional.

Fun but has a bug

On the DOn't game you need to stick a stopAllSounds() to end the horrible sound that you added to get us to press your button and the menu button to return does not work on the end of the Don't game.

Stressbot responds:

Wow, you were bothered to finish don't? Lol, thanks for playing. I'll correct it now.

Good game ole chap...

I have to say I had a rather rousing time. The gameplay was rather dashing and full of a great laugh. Cherio good chap.

So its not the norm so what!

First of all your interface is prime. I really liked your layout and design. The memo could use to have a scroll bar inserted and perhaps you could give it a portrait feel rather like a small school notebook. This would be a great program to implement in middle schools to help children organize their day on their laptops. (of course they would have to be able to take them home) Overall keep up the good work and I would love to see any updates.

I have a great deal of experiance with video, animation and am a software engineer by hobby. I also have helped 6th graders in an after school program make a 20 minute short and their own animations using Appleworks.
