Potential with some more work needed

I actually loved the fact none of these seemed to be a quick click of a button. I would love to see some of these require some skill like the sling shot. You should use text more than your handwriting because it will look more professional.

Not bad keep improving.

A great deal of work can be seen

I can see you worked really hard on this maze style game. The only problem is anyone with a tablet or Tablet PC/MAC can beat this by jumping from start to finish. The trick is to control the cursor so it follows the mouse rather than being the mouses position. Fix this and you will keep Tablet users from easily beating your challenges.

Interesting concept

My big complaint is your instructions are hard to follow making it difficult to figure out how to get a great deal of momentum on the pen. Also I managed to crash your program by playing with pen after I won and it made a draw game which caused the Flash virtual machine to overload. You'll need to disable the pens after each round to break this problem.

kvjoshi responds:

I will look into that bug as soon as I can. Thanks for the report.

Well done and interesting

I am impressed with the backgrounds and animation but it is strongly influenced by Dan Paladin's style and work. The bosses remind me greatly of Alien Hominid/ Your use of bosses is cool but they don't have any unique explosions or sound effects. The game is too linear with no bonuses, high scores, or fun items to collect. It's still well drawn and has good animatic scenes. It would be neat for you and your partner to come up with a unique artistic style otherwise people will accuse you of copying Dan Paladin.

Ansel responds:

It's quite linear. Also, I've been getting the Dan Paladin shit for literally years. I basically don;t care because most of the people who say it don't know what they're talking about.

A great concept for a game

I love the spiderman feel of the game. My only concern is it seems like simple repetitive play. it has no enemies and end bosses to give the player a change and there are not extra lives or continue.

Innovatively addictive

It was definitely original. I was able to rack up 988 points thanks to my global positioning Tablet pen.

Problems... There seems to be a major amount of calculation crunching for the game to function well in realtime. There was a great deal of lagging and slowdown. It's the biggest lowdown of this whole game.

I can see a great deal of effort but the overall fun factor gets lost by the difficulty in controlling the mouse when the clock hand fails to follow at the same pace of the user.

CrazyChihuahua responds:

Well, in terms of the clock hand following the mouse, when there are no people on the minute hand it will go about as fast as the mouse, but perhaps a bit slower. However, enemies will attach themselves to the minute hand, and that definitely slows down the speed. If you weren't talking about that specifically, than I somewhat get what you're saying, but not entirely.

Anyways, thanks for the constructive review.

Not bad but there is a simple way to beat it

I have a tablet PC with global positioning on my screen which unfortunately makes your game too easy. All I have to do is move my mouse from one point to another. If there was a way to detect mouse movement you could probably defeat this.

Flashsubmit responds:

Why do you play it?

A great game best played with a Cintiq/Tablet PC

I really liked the added story telling and different levels of bubbles. The game play was rather unique whereas it allowed us to practice our circle making skills. I am not sure how well this would be liked with a regular mouse but this game is ideal for a tablet, Cintiq, or Tablet PC. I felt the challenges were decent and innovative.

My only concern is I never knew how bad Atlantis was after a successful attack from an enemy. Also this game could have direly used a score method for people to try to get high scores.

Its a rather nice game with very unique features and a well welcomed game for Newgrounds!

A great new addicting game

This game is just so different in style its hard not to like. I will say the mouse version seemed to be a bit more difficult than using the key board. The ball was much more under control. I also felt the choice of making the switches always make specific colors death was a very smart choice.

The game is easily addicting and fun. It makes me wish I knew how to create 3D games in flash.

Jiggmin responds:

I think the mouse is a bit harder too, but you can get higher scores with it. Aaaanywho, thanks for the review!

I have a great deal of experiance with video, animation and am a software engineer by hobby. I also have helped 6th graders in an after school program make a 20 minute short and their own animations using Appleworks.
