I guess my vote cast you into the portal!

I have to say the quality may have not been great but the overall effect showed a growing claymation artist so I was happy to give you a 3. Let's see if you can work on the quality for your next film. I loved the dancing and the penguin was by far your best piece. I take it you are a fan of Nick Park's Wallace and Gromit like I am.

Like I said you show some good potential!

Bienvenidos otra vez Foamy

I agree that Foamy can be a racy character but he also brings up a great point. Mexicans legal and illegal both get walloped into one barrel in the US. I for one feel for both illegal and legals. Heck illegal immigrants would stop if the jobs were not so easy to fill. Americans tend to pick on illegals yet they don't want to participate in many jobs Mexicans and other illegal immigrants are willing to take. Mexicans are just as diverse as Americans. Not all of them do things the exact same way. Not all Mexicans are catholics...trust me I have met, Athiests, Protestants, Mormons, and Jehovah witnesses etc. Not all Mexicans like spicey food I think it is about 50/50.

Also I wish this could have discussed more than Mexican stereotypical foods, hats, and piƱatas. Heck ever heard of milanesa, jicama, chile and chamoy. Mexico is the 2nd largest world cuisine for God's sake. Mexico also has some of the most talented artesans in the world. It also is one of the founding places for the barter market not to be confused with the border town barters. No, huge markets with really cool trinkets, foods etc.

I will say thank you foamy for picking on the losers who put Mexicans in a box as being all bad people.

Your voice makes up for your randomness

Seriously, I was not too impressed with your content but the way you projected your voice shows you have voice talent well surpassed by your years. Your voice reminds me of Billy West (Philip J. Fry of futurama, Ren and Stimpy). I hope to hear your voice in more stuff. If you are lost for a career, start looking into voice acting, radio, or newscasting.

thnx d00d

i've been doing silly voices ever since i was a little ol' lad, although i have been drawing crudley drawn cartoons longer, so i'll just stick to my dream of being a cartoonist :)

This aint your daddy's 8-bit K-A Link

This was so powerful. I could feel Link's hatred for his father's death and his need to appease the vengence in his heart. You gave us a great scene and enough to make us beg you for more. The music choice was well thought out and nowhere overdone. You show a fantastic strength in animated direction.

My only hope is the final fight with Ganon is full of fighting and really cool magic!

SolidSacketh responds:

Ha, heck yeah, thanks man! It's a brutal pursuit trying to attain excellence with a mouse to draw. I am glad you can appreciate the work it took! And yes, the next one will be directed and animated by me, and I have the storyboards done. Oh trust me, you will like the next one.

Bad flash does kill

I was laughing so hard at the fight seen between the noobi and the two guards it was so well orchestrated. The humor was so in lined with the Newgrounds noobi culture that it made the jokes mean so much more. Please keep on flooding the portal with nonsense flash parodies to die for!

RSQViper responds:

I'm glad you liked it so much. it's hard to tell if it's funny fo rme because I basically hear it over and over and over again so it dulls the whole idea of it.

The Easter Egg kills me though. I think it's hilarious.

Thanks for the review, although I doubt I start flooding the portal any time soon seeing as this took a month and a half to make. LOL!

Such a touching and ironic truth

A new king looks at his sword the emblem of the power of the king and focuses on the reason he has become the king very touching. Reflections always make nice pieces and this is no acception. I love the play on the former king and his son. We know that the father has passed away by the beautiful psychology you created.

I felt the hands were great actually and your visualization smashing. The faces did appear a little flat and perhaps the hands too but this shows mature animated style. Tell us a story!

Nice mix of flash and Paint

I really liked the feel of a sketch I got from this piece. The character development worked really well for the overall appeal of this short. It was not too short nor too long. I felt the direction really shined.

My only rant is the final sound. It has a high pitch that takes away from the erie feeling I believe you were trying to create and it just made it end on an annoying note. Kill that sound and it would be pure gold.

Random then focused bad combo

Man, you had things going in too many directions. First you had Ken in an alternate universe then back in a street fight. Just don't do this you take away from you ability to make decent stuff. If you start out random stay that way else you make your audience hate your work. If you cut out the super mario scene and the stuff about the alternate universe this would be a much more understandable Ryu vs Akuma animation.

lThe-Gamel responds:

By the way.. the story goes on to reality near distruction, and it starts off with sonic and then goes to some old sonic game.

Fantastic transformative animation

I loved this piece. The contrast between light and dark and good and evil were superiorly represented. The idea of love between polar opposites is a story as old as time. Yin and Yang and Female and Male...

I loved your mastery of frame by frame and layering. This piece is a rare site and welcome.

Random yet satisfying

I really loved these pieces. They may have been random but for the most part I was laughing in stitches for each and everyone of them. Your style of black on white was fine but a warning if you choose this style artistically the desert scene and the colored gray window scene do not fit. Yet, I do understand it is hard to give the idea of a desert with a sand color so it is validated but the window scene did not need any paint fills the comedy was clearly in the dialogue.

Great work!

I have a great deal of experiance with video, animation and am a software engineer by hobby. I also have helped 6th graders in an after school program make a 20 minute short and their own animations using Appleworks.
