That was plainly awesome

The style is spectacular and very vibrant. This is such an 80s song which is so typical of machines so the pieces fit pretty well with the pacman era. Yeah, I can really give away my age.

I loved your tweening and practicle use of symbols. Nice work!

Hoogiman responds:

Thank yeh.

Did somebody say born to animate?

This was fantastic with a high influence of Tom and Jerry and Ren and Stimpy. I loved the expressions of emotions of pain and agony simply marvelous. The final close up on his strung up body was perfect.

I am glad you took sometime to work on this again.

vastcool responds:

thanks man!!

Math is fun?

That's what my college prof would say anytime we would say math was pointless in his class. I don't think math has yet saved my life but it does help to be quite versed in it as an educator and in most jobs. It does save you money on taxes if you can file your own.

Well, All I can say is you really put some work into both your artwork and your characters. For 14, kid you've got a bright future in flash animation. I wish flash was around when I was your age. We had hypercard for the macs. It can be programmed but at the time it was black and white and behaved as a paint program.

You failed to relate it totally to math which match your character perfectly. I loved the drawing of Mr. Mario. My suggestio would be to work more on your fighting animation sequences. Cinematography was prime and so were your lip syncs.

This was overly a barrel of laughs!

DarksbaneTheDog responds:

Thanks man. Actually I don't hate math, and I know it comes in handy. Ha, yeah, the fight sequence though could have been way better. I know because, it was rushed. There should have been more action, after he hits the guy the first time. Mr. Mario was probably the funnest to draw too, maybe next to Q.M. The reason, which is sorta obvious, is because I basically got to draw an "older version" of Super Mario. :D

Anyways thanks again for the review man, and I'll really work hard to improve.

This was a great paradox of pop culture art

I loved this piece. It was quite inspiring and as a studier of culture you message was both gramatically and semantically correct. The message was clear and universal. I will say the ability to enjoy a piece of art as copy is not as bad as one would think; yet, your point of the stupidity of an image on mugs, underpants etc is well expressed. I whole heartedly agree with you on that stance.

As an art student and a fellow art enthusiest I hope you continue with you satires. How about one trying to teach people the difference between a copy and an artistic print. This subject Irks me to an extreme. I cannot believe people can sell copies for more than some artists sell their prints.

Thank you for making this flash.

pedrovenancio responds:

I'm glad you enjoyed it and got the point I was trying to reach.

It's a good idea make a flash trying to teach people the difference between a copy and an artistic print. Maybe I'll try to do one about this.

Thank you for your review and let people know about this animation.
(sorry about the english, I'm brazilian)

Marvelous

I simply loved this piece. It was both respectful and random. I loved the style you chose to subtle the chorus it was quite innovative.

Great work!

ZekeySpaceyLizard responds:

PeeWee Herman just came on on Adult Swim.

I dont know whether to cry or leap for joy.

Tongue and cheek never goes dry!

You've done it again. I almost missed this one and boy am I glad to see your second installment. The sidekick is definitely working for Killroys act and who not laugh at the inability to use violence in front of innoscent eyes.

Satan turns out to be the worlds biggest loser literally and the day is once again saved...cept we forgot the kid! So classic yet oh so innovative. I can see the high dirty harry influence.

All and all your series is definitely growing on me.

Uptown-SlimJim responds:

You're welcome

Nice effects!

I really loved the orb/eyeball effect. It may have been random but it showed your strength with multiple styles. I would consider keeping it shorter because after a while it seemed to lag. On the other hand it was quite spectacular to watch.

trekopep responds:

I most likely would have made it shorter, but I wanted to do the full length of the song. (because people who make the song want you to use the whole thing usually.)

Mother and children first?

Pepe rules! Let me know if you need some Spanish insults or some funny stuff to subtitle.

PBM responds:

LOL! I may take you up on that if we do another one, which we dont really have any plans for (especially with all the stick haters on the loose these days). Pepe was my favorite character.
El Feesh Dick!!
Thanks for the review.

Lookin good

You got some great potential. A little random at times but it fit the song. Please keep up your work.

Downing responds:

thanks...yeah i do get kind of random sometimes but thats how i keep your attention =] thanks again

Bring on the SKA!

I felt this was fun. I liked the gangster culture play. I especially loved the dis on rap and advertisement for SKA! What program do you Locks use for electronic voiceovers?

HurleyLock responds:

Awesome, a fellow Ska fan! What a constructive review! Oh and the program is "Speakonia"

I have a great deal of experiance with video, animation and am a software engineer by hobby. I also have helped 6th graders in an after school program make a 20 minute short and their own animations using Appleworks.
