More could be done

This was a nice demonstration of your talents but this could have done so much more. You could have a random generator pop the letters all over the screen while we try to swat them along with multiple letters being generated.

This could become a fun game so keep plugging at this. If you need help be sure to ask around. I would be happy to help you.

Nice and innovative

I could really get attached to a program like this. I can't believe how complex of a program is in this little flash. I would love to pick your brain on how you put this together.

The core app with no intro, and pulleys, was much smaller -> 2Kb ;)
It is not that complicated actually, but it will be when I start doing the game...

The control has improved

I feel the control seems a bit more manuverable. I also like the fact I am not waiting as long for flowers to pop in.

I have liked this concept since the beginning. I am in hopes to work on my own bee short soon too. Its not a game but I am proud that you are working so hard to make this better.

Not a good context but great game

I am not a fan on blamming political parties for keeping Osama alive; yet , you game was fun and you even changed osama's face for different levels of health. I loved the powerups and weapons. This was tight and really fun. Tablet PC recommended!

A little overdone concept

This is a fun style game but your sensitivity to the snakes is set too high which makes the user get frustrated that they did not touch a snake but the hit test must have it set to far out from the snakes. This makes this game sloppy. Try to get this fixed.

Nobody messes with the king of the portal!

This game really did a spectacular job bringing SBC culture and old school space invaders together. You could perhaps make a version or level with newground contenders for the portal or even members of the various lock, glock etc.

A game to be careful about

First where did you learn your Spanish because adding o's to Spanish swears does not make it work. You might want to ask for some help to spruce this part up. Also get rid of that demeaning voice at the beginning. I would be willing to fill in for his dialog if you like also and voice act for him. The game is an excellent example of a work related game it gives me the feel of I love Lucy meets Cantinflas.

Also it gets too quick way to fast. Remember 11 pesos is a dollar you may want to lower your highest increment to 20-50 centavos (2 to 5 cents American). Also you need to reset the games speed after somebody loses since the games seems to remain fast.

I did like the appeal but I felt it was too demeaning of the character you created it would be more fun to play with some less stereotypical Mexican phrases.

As for the character, Edgardo is a real guy, and the character based on him (including the nonsense Spanish) is a satire of Latino stereotypes. It might be hard for someone to gather that off the bat, but c'mon, it's a little over the top to be taken seriously (I hope).

Nice game

The game is a fun and addicting game yet I see this being more aimed towards graphic tablet and table PC users. It does not lend itself well to a customary mouse or touchpad. Also it gets too hard too fast. This does take away from its ability to create replay ability. You mention more points for 6 of the same piece I don't see this possible without a tablet or global position light pen nor is this feasible by the time one sees more than 3 instances of the same object.

The concept is tight but the gameplay needs work.

You're absolutely right.

I hadn't used my mouse for quite a few months (though it's still plugged in) and trying it just now, I notice it does seem a lot harder.

I could still get 6 points for the first few shapes (after deleting the initial vertical lines, I got 6 Xs and 6+s but I couldn't survive nearly as long.

I think I see a real need for difficulty levels.

I'll be honing this at some point in the future. Thanks for the really useful review.

Nice work

My problem was I cold not tell if the aliens had gotten too close before it was too late. I would love to help you redesign this to improve it's graphics both background and foreground. Also adieus walking in the air and on the clipping plane looks weird. Spaceships would be a good fix coming by air. Also multiple level aliens would add more challenge.

I have a great deal of experiance with video, animation and am a software engineer by hobby. I also have helped 6th graders in an after school program make a 20 minute short and their own animations using Appleworks.
