What's sick is this is only the beginning

I can see you are improving fast and grasping onto animation like a pro. I loved how mixed your media was from clay, to chalk, to stick animations, and toys. An artist always needs a large vat of tools and it looks like you have them.

I have loved your work since the Saw 3 animation. I can't wait to see where you are headed!

Vdub responds:

Thanks dude!

Nice work would be an understatement

This piece is at a level of its own. Too bad some people judge things because someone chooses to use anime or happens to come from a culture that uses anime.

In my mind I judge content and yours is solid. Second story element which is both comical and semi-realistic. It does seem a little inspired by the Chuni exams in Naruto but much more action packed. Third the use of violence which is neither out-blown or ridiculous just plains taken cool. It's easy to watch and rather enjoyable.

Can't wait to see what else is hiding in that amazing head of yours!

This is beyond twisted

Yet, I have learned to expect humor like this from you. I will not say I was rolling laughing but it was an interesting concept of how low a druggy will go to get his crack and cocaine. It may be sick but this could actually detour younger people from being stupid enough to get hooked on the crap.

I may not like the content but I do love your style. I have to love Alice's come back that was great!

ApocalypseCartoons responds:

thanks. and i'm not trying to deter anyone from anything. i just think giving drugs to rodents is funny.

Not a fan of emo's but this was great

I have to say your use of motifs the blood, promise, and death really worked well. It was a sad story but a really heart felt one. I liked how even though your male character gave hope in the end he could not keep his promise. It helped to make your piece seem more real and the scene with her bleeding to death worked better.

Filmpiegang responds:

I'm glad you liked it :)
I know the dark, bloody style seems to be emo, but that was never my intention.
I used this style because I thought that it fitted better to the storyline.
Anyway, thanks for the useful review, I really like getting these!

I am so glad we all took time to be part of this!

This was such a great idea and really shows how much of a community Newgrounds can be. Its hard to believe that so many folks were involved. It's so cool to be part of something so big. I would love to know how many countries were involved too.

I hope this makes front page!

SirNightOwl responds:

Us too :)

Another satisfying addition to a series

This one I felt better fit the story since the last one. It fit quite well because you had already established an alliance between the white claymen and blue Bob. I liked how they risked their lives for him but I feel blue Bob is going to have to choose a faction. Obviously the white has not yet double crossed him. Time will tell if Bob can handle being a loner.

Nicely animated and worth watching.

Phill64 responds:

Thanks for the review Tony,

I look forward to your reviews these days, you can obviously see the improvements on the things you pointed out earlier.

You really do think about what is going to happen alot don't you? :) I'm glad, it's refreshing to hear what you are actually thinking about the clips.

Cheers mate!

Funny yet a good moral message

I know this was meant to be a parody but your final message about not judging a people based on an individual who does live up to the standard really was a decent message. I hope people do not take offense to this and really hone into the last part. Although I thought the opening was stupendously funny. I am 1/16 native American and I find it more offensive that the US denies me my heritage only because of moneys they give to Native Americans with at least 1/4 or people who still celebrate the culture.

Nice short.

It's great to have TooF back but it's not special

The magic seemed to be lacking. I do not mind you doing something from inside your head but this seemed too inside. I could barely follow your characters and it did seem to drag. The music video was not hitting me well either though the characterizations were perfect. I did feel the animation has not lost its edge but was there.

I know that we all have our bad days. Just understand I do not feel there is any reason to conform your work. It is one of the things Logo I have always liked about your work is it always seems to be a piece that can only come from your mind. So this one we did not like. That does not matter as long as you like it.

Hope to see more.

MACception responds:

Lol...dude...I had to make 5 teeth look like KoRn...You can only come so close!

Nah, I get what you mean though, I could have done more, but I chose to go a simple route.

Dude...that second paragraph is a nugget of goddamn joy, isn't it? Fuck...I feel totally revitalized and ready to make more! I'm not being sarcastic either though, considering my favorite reason for animating is sharing what's in my mind, I'm happy what you said was said.

I'll do what I can.

Its been done too many times

This had a chance of being funny yet your speed for you characters was way too slow for a true Benny Hill short (raise the frame rater or shorten the inbetweens). Also you need to have per say 3 subplots to make a true Benny Hill chase seen. Perhaps a gorilla clock or even SBC spouting B. The point is it is not just a person being chased.

Always a good watching

I really like the play on the 1980's cultural icons in this piece. My brother actually met him in person when he was working at a convenience store in Maine. Killroy is only getting better love the new killer move it was sweetly animated.

Also I noticed on one of the fight scenes Killroy's head seemed a little detached and looked odd.

Long Live Killroy and his funny sidekick.

Uptown-SlimJim responds:

Your brother met Hogan? That's awesome...hold on to that brother of yours, he's a keeper

For the battle gear model I pretty much made a new body and redid the head. Just enough to get the movie done. In hindsight, I rushed it

I have a great deal of experiance with video, animation and am a software engineer by hobby. I also have helped 6th graders in an after school program make a 20 minute short and their own animations using Appleworks.
